Quella - 5 Expressions

An exercise I did recently; I wanted to draw a character of mine with 5 basic expressions. I tried to adjust how I shaded each face to match each emotion. Run-of-the-mill shading for the stern and bashful faces, lighter shading for the happy face, high contrast for the angry face, and I tried making the shading get darker lower down for the sad face to give the drawing a sense of weight. Not sure how well that worked out, but hey, worth a try.
